This is significant because the concepts of management 2.0 which are talked about in agile do not always mix well with some hierarchical business cultures.       Agile management truly a strategy that changes the overall work culture. It leads to enhanced productivity not only because the big lumps of work break down into smaller pieces, but also because it motivates employees due to smaller yet timely successes. The big advantage here is-delivering ‘on-time’, which even like the article says, remains the most popular measure for agile’s initial success.I believe this perfectly makes sense, as agile management helps deliver versions on time with convenience, and mistakes in a deliverable can be accounted for in the next version. Which practically means, you still have a chance, and there’s never a last chance, as additional versions might add a little to the project costs, but it facilitates the developers to improve. If required, it also has the flexibility to add additional versions in the middle of the process too. For example, if a software has some bugs that were spotted with end user reviews, and the next version to launch is still far in time, the developer can fix the bug and release a new version with just bug fixes, which is pretty common with the evolving world of mobile phone applications. additionally, this greatly helps the company gain higher customer satisfaction. More the end users are satisfied and happy, more opportunities for a company to enhance!
